Max Scharnigg
Max Scharnigg was born in Munich in 1980 and works as an editor for the Süddeutsche Zeitung. He published the travel book Hotel Fatal, the column collections Das habe ich jetzt akustisch nicht verstanden and Feldversuch. In 2011, his debut novel Die Besteigung der Eiger-Nordwand unter einer Treppe was published and won many awards. 2013 followed the novel Vorläufige Chronik des Himmels über Pildau, 2016 the Handbuch für gute Manieren im Netz Herrn Knigge gefällt das! and 2018 the novel Der restliche Sommer.
