Lilian Loke

Lilian Loke*, born in Munich in 1985, studied English literature, art history and modern German literature. For her work she received, among others, the Literature Scholarship of the City of Munich, the Workshop Scholarship of the Jürgen Ponto Foundation and the Literary Colloquium Berlin. Her debut novel *Gold in den Straßen was awarded the Bavarian Art Promotion Prize and the Toucan Prize in 2015. She has been a member of the PEN Center Germany since 2016. Her current novel Auster und Klinge was published by C.H.Beck in 2018. Her short story Auf Jupiter regnet es Diamanten was awarded at the FM4 Wortlaut 2018. In 2019, she was the seminar leader of the Bavarian Academy of Writing of the Literaturhaus München for the TU Munich, Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg, University of Augsburg and Bayreuth.
