Juliane Marie Schreiber

Juliane Marie Schreiber is a political scientist and author.

In 2022, her social criticism Ich möchte lieber nicht. Eine Rebellion gegen den Terror des Positiven was published by Piper Verlag and became a bestseller.

She writes for ZDF heute, Philosophie Magazin, SZ Magazin, Freitag, Welt and Jung & Naiv, among others. She has worked as a speechwriter and communications consultant for foundations and the Bundestag, currently for Düzen Tekkal (Háwar Help).

For her book Bilder als Waffen. Die ikonische Ästhetisierung der neuen Kriege (2018), she received the Aquila Ascendens security policy science prize.

She was born in Berlin in 1990 and studied political science and sociology (M.A.) at Humboldt University Berlin and Sciences Po Paris.
